What is the True Meaning
of Christmas?
For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
- Isaiah 9:6
Many followers of Jesus around the world celebrate his birth at Christmas. Yeshu is God’s son, born of a human virgin through the Holy spirit. Yeshu lived a perfect life that we could not, making Him a perfect sacrifice. His death and resurrection covers all the sin and shame of those who follow Him. Yeshu chose to die for our sins because He loves us.
There are many other traditions that have started around Christmas time, but Yeshu leaving heaven to become a human and make the way for humans to have a restored relationship with God is the most important thing to celebrate, not only at Christmas, but every day of our lives.
